New Work for 16 Sine Wave Oscillators, Gaussian Noise and Lowpass Filter

Hell Yes, PSL, Whitehall Waterfront, Leeds
Friday 19 June 2009, 7-8.30pm

This performance, for four loudspeakers, explored the physiological properties of sound using sine waves and noise. Alongside the 16 oscillators, various forms of nonlinear, chaotic noise generators were used.

The performance coincided with the release of a limited edition CD produced by Entr’acte for Hell Yes.

Supported by Leeds Metropolitan University.

Thanks to: Rhiannon Silver, Allon Kaye, Joe Mawson, PSL, Ben Dalton and Paul Emery.
